How do you generate Vehicle Insights?

We harness the power of millions of data points from vehicles all around the United States in order to help determine an EV's range, its predicted range over time, and its range in varying climate conditions.

Recurrent uses machine learning models that incorporate data from your individual vehicle alongside geographical, climate, and fleet-wide data from vehicles across our network.

For drivers connected for Vehicle Insights, data received from your vehicle approximately three times per day helps inform our models.

Range estimates — including Expected Range and Range in 3 Years — are grounded in real-world observed driving performance from the Recurrent fleet, not dashboard figures or EPA ratings. Expected Range specifically reflects the 80th percentile of observed real-world performance, meaning it represents what an efficient driver can realistically achieve under typical conditions.
